Father...
It has been 3 days since my last Blogfession. I've been layin pretty low this week. After work, I just go home & either watch TV or sleep. I haven't necessarily gotten to sleep earlier because of this, but I have spent less money & felt more rested. I signed up for defensive driving Monday, then realized I was due last week so I'm just putting it off longer cause it's already late as it is. Anyways, it's time to go home for the day, stop by the Chevy dealer to get some touch up paint for the gaping KEY mark someone decided to leave on my door Friday. Peace!

Awesome end to an exhausting weekend
So yesterday was the Lone Star Bash @ The Brewery with Bob Schneider. I woke up at 10am to make sure I'd have plenty of time to make it to the bus on time. The people on the bus seemed pretty cool. I couldn't help but notice the above average number of lesbians though. Even once at the brewery, it was like half rainbows. We arrived around 2:30pm & the music started around 3. I checked the line up & Bob Schneider was headlining. He wouldn't be playing til 9, so the only thing left to do til then was take advantage of the $3 tall boys of Lone Star. The sun mixed with the nearly 12 hours of drinking really wore me out. Once Bob came on though, I knew it was all worth it. I was front row!! He played a few songs I'd never heard, so after the show I decided to buy a CD they recorded of the show. I also bought a T-shirt and finagled a guitar pick from this guy that grabbed a few after the show. When I was just about to grab my CD & run to the bus to ensure I hadn't missed it, the bassist walked by. I was surprised to see her out in the open so I turned around and walking up was Bob Schneider himself. I got him to sign my CD & take a picture. It was pretty effin sweet considering usually he disappears right after the shows. I made out like a bandit with a new t-shirt, guitar pick, signed CD & picture with Bob. The bus ride home was less enjoyable than the one there & I didnt get back to Houston until 2am. Then I had a good 30min drive back to Sugar Land. I was exhausted to say the least!
I slept until 11:59 this morning, and woke up just in time for the Texans. They weren't fortunate enough to win this one, but I'm still amped my Cougars pulled off a W even after losing their starting & back up QB's. Go Coogs!!

So Many Zzz's, So Little Time
It's Thursday... I think. I'm physically exhausted, but at the same time I can't complain. Tuesday I went to the House of Blues to see the Dirty Heads FOR FREE!! The show was amazing & I got home pretty late. Didn't get to sleep til about 3am & was up again at 8am for work. Then yesterday I got off work at 4 and rushed home to change & head to the woodlands to see The Whigs, The Black Keys & Kings of Leon!!! The show was amazingly amazing!! I had a little buzz going in the beginning from the rum I added to my Dr Pepper @ Jack in the Box. Traffic blew & some under sized douche in an over sized F-150 in the parking lot decided to be a dick & not let me merge... so I merged my already dented fender onto his $500 All Terrains to let him know I didn't give a fuck about him... he let me over. I didn't get home til like 1am and was asleep by 2am only to be up again at 8am for work. I'm on the office couch right now writing this from a netbook because I can.
My cousin is coming in town from fort worth tonight & he likes to party, so I'm not going to be getting ANY rest til Sunday at the earliest. Saturday I'm taking a party bus to San Antonio for the Lonestar Bash at the brewery. Bob Schneider is playing along with some others (I dont know, or really care who else is playing). The bus takes us back to Houston at 10:15pm so I wont be back til around 1am. I have 2 tickets but my cousin might have to be back in fort worth for work saturday so let's hope I'm not flying solo. If I do end up going alone, I may meet up with my brother who will be staying the night in SA for some gun/knife defense training. Apparently the River Oaks area is getting pretty "hood" at night hahaha! I dont think he even owns a gun, or a knife. Well that's my week as of now... time to take a 5 hour energy cause I'm coming down from my mountain dew high.

Zzz...
So sleepy today... went to work and was pretty busy all day. Got off at 6:30 and came home to "watch" MNF. I use quotes because I actually fell asleep on the couch and now I'm about to go to sleep at 9pm. Sobered up yesterday, but now it's time to catch up on some much needed sleep. Goodnight!
A Quarter Century
Where to start... Last night was quite possibly the most fun I've had in a LONG time. I typically like to throw my own parties just because I like to know that everything I want to happen is going to... or because I'm a control freak and like things perfect. Well this year I just didn't feel like doing it. I told all my friends I was just gonna wing my birthday plans. Maybe go to a bar & have a few beers, whatever. Well they all put their minds together & collaborated on a badass GREEN party!! By the time we pulled up to the house I knew where we were, even though I was blindfolded with Kristi's sports bra. I used my amazing sense of direction to keep up with every turn in my head. Although I knew where we were, my mind couldn't even begin to fathom the amount of effort these guys put into decorating. The walls were covered in Green butcher paper, and the lights were eclipsed by shades of green balloons dangled from the ceiling. I was so overwhelmed!! I had a 6 pack of Newcastle waiting for me in the fridge & all my friends draped in the green shirts they had purchased specifically for this event. I guess not everyone has as much green apparel as I do. I had on my green polo, green chucks, green watch, & even green contacts. What can I say, I'm dedicated! The girls made me a green cake (inside & out) topped with one dollar bills with my face photoshopped on them, courtesy of Mrs Burnett. I started the night off by being "iced" with a GREEN apple Smirnoff, and ended the night after being "iced" for the 5th time... I had taken 6 shots of rum on the blind folded ride over, so my ability to dodge these for-mentioned Smirnoff's was a little off. I got chocolate-wasted to say the least. Literally the only thing that I could say went wrong last night was the fact that UH's Heisman hopeful starting quarter back tore his ACL & is out for the season. Not only is he out, but the back up QB (from Dulles HS) broke his collar bone shortly after. I hate to be negative but our 3rd string QB is not the best, and we can most likely kiss any chance at a winning season goodbye. Oh well enough about that, I'm starting to tear up again, just kidding, but really. To finish off the weekend, I had my close friends and ENTIRE family over for dinner. My pops & I grilled the dove I shot last weekend, and some fajitas too. Mom made tortillas and german chocolate cake! I finally feel sober again and definitely wont be drinking that much again anytime soon. Oh and I sat on Jamie's digital camera last night and now I get to buy her a new one... AWESOME! Oh well, back to the grind tomorrow, these computers aren't gonna fix themselves!
