Going Strong

So it's been a little over 3 weeks without a drop of alcohol. I'm actually doing fine & love waking up without hangovers. Last week I decided to drop everything but water (mainly sodas) cause just alcohol wasn't doing the trick. I felt like challenging myself even more. The past few days I've been getting (lack of) caffeine headaches. They suck, but its nothing a little Excedrin cant fix. I'll eventually wean myself off of them completely, minus the occasional mixer... that is when I start to drink again. I'm still shooting for New Years Eve. I don't know what I'm doing that night but I'm sure it'll involve drinking copious amounts of alcohol & kissing some poor unsuspecting lady at midnight. I haven't been writing on here much cause not much tends to happen when you're not going out getting wasted every weekend. I've just been swimming with Timmy a lot and trying to get into the habit of going everyday again. I've been going about 3 days a week and swimming anywhere from 60-100 laps. Not bad, but I can do better. I need more water & whatever else makes you NOT cramp up after 1500m. Anyways, I swam a mile tonight, so needless to say, I'm falling asleep while writing this. Sober Sally

So I went to Austin for Halloween. It was pretty fun, even though I left my shredder shirt in Houston. Luckily I had my "2nd Amendment" costume in the car. It was actually a pretty big hit... at least to those who got it.  I didn't drink much because I was driving everyone to 6th street & back home after.


Sunday, I handed out candy to the kids with my green glow-in-the-dark contacts. I scared the hell out of some childrens haha.


Today, I decided it may be a good time to stop drinking & start swimming again. There aren't many events coming up where I'd feel much like drinking, so I'm gonna see if I can make it til New Years Eve.  It's a solid 2 months, but isn't anything I haven't done before. I wanna get back to the pool so I can get some of my definition back in my arms and minimize the belly. These next couple months are typically big eating months, what with Thanksgiving & Christmas coming up, so I might as well hit the gym early!!
